Some might call me a sucker for advertising; I think I just like great commercials.  On top of the funny SportsCenter commercials and the freecreditreport.com guy, I love the McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish commercial with Frankie the Fish singing.

Frankie the Fish is a fish that hangs on the wall and sings “Give me back that Filet-O-Fish, give me that fish,” to a man in the garage eating a McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish sandwich.  Some people might find the fact the man continues to eat his Filet-O-Fish sandwich while Frankie the Fish sings to him is disturbing.  I think that because the tune to the song is so catchy and the man is so comfortable eating the fish sandwich, that the commercial is much more funny than it is disturbing.

While the Frankie the Fish Filet-O-Fish song does not make me feel like running out to McDonald’s to purchase a Filet-O-Fish sandwich (or french fries) it does give me a guaranteed 30 seconds of pure entertainment, and it does make me laugh out loud every time.
