It is now November, and for a lot of people it is their favorite time of year – the brisk weather, the leaves changing color and falling to the ground, football, and of course the seasonal food. Ice cream lovers go crazy over pumpkin flavored ice cream, coffee drinkers get really excited for their pumpkin flavored lattes, beer enthusiasts love the different Oktoberfest beers and pumpkin flavored beers, and let’s not forget about the soda drinkers who cannot wait for their turkey and gravy flavored soda.

I have a new favorite product. I never thought I would get so excited over hangers, but these soft grip hangers are the best thing I put in my closet since my shoes. I keep talking to my boss about how much I love them, so of course, I needed to let you all know about my new love for the soft grip hangers.

Recently I moved and during my move I decided I needed new hangers for all of my clothes to hang in my new closet. Now, I am happy to look in my closet and actually see the clothes instead of having to dig through them to see what is there, and even when I move the hangers the clothes do not fall off! I gave my boyfriend all of my old plastic hangers during my soft grip hanger switch. He can keep the plastic ones; I have upgraded to smaller yet better hangers for my clothes.

Some might call me a sucker for advertising; I think I just like great commercials.  On top of the funny SportsCenter commercials and the freecreditreport.com guy, I love the McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish commercial with Frankie the Fish singing.

Frankie the Fish is a fish that hangs on the wall and sings “Give me back that Filet-O-Fish, give me that fish,” to a man in the garage eating a McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish sandwich.  Some people might find the fact the man continues to eat his Filet-O-Fish sandwich while Frankie the Fish sings to him is disturbing.  I think that because the tune to the song is so catchy and the man is so comfortable eating the fish sandwich, that the commercial is much more funny than it is disturbing.

While the Frankie the Fish Filet-O-Fish song does not make me feel like running out to McDonald’s to purchase a Filet-O-Fish sandwich (or french fries) it does give me a guaranteed 30 seconds of pure entertainment, and it does make me laugh out loud every time.
