Primary reason for purchase: To sit on while bathing my small dog. After sitting down in shower/tub to bath my little dog, I have a very difficult time getting up. This stool is sturdy and exactly the right height to allow me to get up/down easily. Because of its compactness, I am also using it as it is intended - a step stool.
