As a high scool student I took woodshop for three years. I also did some woodworking after than but then life got busy. This rack is one of the cheapest (price) that I could find and it perfectly fit my needs. I bought two and they are in my cold storage area (have those in houses here in Utah). I know the price of wood has gone up but what I paid for the two racks was insane! My shop teacher would be saddened that I didn't make them myself! They are basic frames made from pine (low priced wood). I wouldn't put one out for public viewing unless it was finished. It was easy to put together but didn't sit square on the floor (had a slight rocking to it). In the end, it's doing the job, though I could use 4 more to hold the wine I brought back from Europe. Despite the price, I might be ordering a few more...couldn't find one that held that many bottles for that price.

Great that it fit into a small closet space and holds 44 bottles. This is much more than the wrought iron holder I had there. Also, it has a nice shelve on top to store bigger bottles or other items. I placed one in the kitchen and one in my wine cellar. I will be adding more of these to my cellar....they are a great buy.
