I needed a footrest for my bedroom for reading & TV watching as I have bad knees & sciatica. I didn't want to invest in a recliner, or ottoman as the room is too small, so I thought I'd try this. It works well enough, but you have to be careful to keep it from collapsing. It's not real sturdy, but I do like that I can slide it under my chair when I'm not using it.
