My husband had purchased for us some elbow length silicone(?) oven mitts, but they were too large for my hands and bulky. Whenever I tried reaching into the oven, I'd invariably end up sticking the mitt thumb into the food while trying to pull out the casserole dish, etc. He purchased these for me and they're nearly perfect. Yes, a bit large, but I guess they're supposed to be one size fits most. I have found that I cannot hold items for extended periods - such as roasts that have been in the oven for hours - but for most things it's not an issue. I've also found myself putting the gloves on when dumping pasta into strainer and when digging through our freezer looking for a package of meat. For the price and variety of uses, I'm very happy with these gloves.

The amazing glove really works great. Much better than an oven mitt. You have alot of control. The only con I found was the odor, must be the material it is made of. I had to set it out on our porch for a few days to air it out and now it is just fine.

Great if you are constantly burning the top of your hands when using pot holders. Better than oven mitts. They are big, but I guess one size fits all and men do cook also! Good value for price.

I purchased the "Amazing Gloves" when I got tired of constantly burning my hands in the oven. My regular oven mitts I had did not protect my hands - these do! So nice to be able to pick up hot items and putting pans in oven and removing them without the fear of getting burned.
