I use the door protector on my wood six panel door. When my dogs hear me in the garage, they start jumping on the door and scratching. I can't get in the house fast enough to prevent the door from being scratched. I have purchased plexiglass in the past to use for this purpose, but it is quite expensive. This protector is durable enough for my dogs and a heavy weight plastic.

This is such a great solution to our problem. Our Lab opens the doors himself and this guard keeps the scratch and mud off the doors.

I put it on my outside door because my Lasa was scratching the paint off the door. I had to buy stronger velcro to keep it on as the velcro that came with it didn't last in the sun. I like it so well I plan to put another on my other door that Scooby keeps scratching. It's great for protecting the wood!
