I am using them as gates at my front steps and wheelchair ramp. I have problems with stray dogs in my neighborhood. So I use them to keep the dogs off my porch bothering my cats.

We use it across the front of our couch so our weiner dog can't jump down. It's a little flimsy, but works fine for us. Not a really smooth finish, I've had a splinter already. Could use to block the dog in a room - if she doesn't try to push it. Our dog is old and wouldn't try to push it out of the way.

We use the gates to prevent our pets from going into other parts of the house. We can move the gates with one hand which makes it easy to use if carrying something. They look more upgrade and furniture-like. They are also compact and store away easily in a small space.

These gates are perfect for the entrances I have to my kitchen and foyer. They are also easily entered or moved if need be. The construction could be better, but my dog is scared of them and will not even try to move them, so they're perfect for us.
