cooking from frozen a big plus. have cooked frozen chicken breasts and thick frozen steaks. The steaks took a bit longer to cook as my husband likes no red or pink in his meat. I also cooked liver and onions in it on a dinner dish on the upper rack. My biggest problem with the oven is that it is hard to keep the cord out of the way when removing the top to turn food over. Over all I am enjoying using the oven

This is a replacement for the earlier model Flavor Wave Oven that I used constantly. I love both models and am using the new one every day. Mostly, I like cooking on plates with these ovens because cleanup is so much easier than cooking directly on the grill. Plates work well as long as you turn the food halfway through cooking. The new model does not accommodate my largest dinner plate size, however, which is a disadvantage. Because the new bowl design is deeper, it's harder to get a large plate out without burning yourself. In addition, the new bowl design is a little heavy to lift and rinse after the self-cleaning stage with soap. Yet I wouldn't be without one of these ovens. Since I use mostly plates or trays I don't have to worry about lifting the bowl much. I just wipe it out with a sponge after each use. Virtually all microwave ovens leak despite what the manufacturers say. I have two young children and put safety first with them. The safety and convenience of this oven make it a winner for me. Moreover, it saves time because the food cooks so fast.

I had my original flavor wave oven that after 7 years- finally went and got my $'s worth- I had to purchase a new one- fast,easy, saves time and saves energy from using the oven- and now the design is much more up to date and works as promised.
