I like that this puts the GPS out of the window and down where I can see it....would like to have had a more narrow bottom to the cup to be able to fit in the smaller up-front cup holder receptacles instead of the larger one that's further back on the console.

I've tried the heavy "sandbags" - no room on dash. I've tried the "clips-to-vent" - it flops back and forth within the vent's range of motion.
I've tried a cigarette lighter mount - that works ok, but it hangs a lot of weight on the socket and vibrates and shakes around. This cupholder design is simple, inexpensive, multi-use and WORKS.

I would forewarn buyer that the cup holder must be console mounted. My cup holder is at windshield level. My GPS is large and blocks window. Holder is too big to fit my car cup holders. If only the base was slimmer. I would recommend the product but with a warning.
