I use this bag as my primary purse. It is a bit bulkier & heavier than I thought it would be, but this is due to the fact that it is leather. I could have chosen a bag such as the Smart Bag, also sold by Taylor Gifts, that is made of fabric, and is thus lighter & less bulky, but I found I liked the more stylish look of leather. The Streamlined Travel Bag has lots of pockets, more than the Smart Bag, including several that zip. I do wish that it had a set of credit card slots built in, which the Smart Bag does include (but the Smart Bag counts each credit card slot as a "pocket" in their description, which I think is a bit of a overstatement). The Smart Bag also has loops for pens & lipstick, which would be welcome in the Streamlined Travel Bag. However, in comparing the two, the Streamlined Travel Bag has more useful pockets. I also found the leather to be more stylish, and would certainly suit a professional better. Both bags can be worn across the body to reduce strain on the back, which was also a necessity for me.
