I have had my veg-o-matic for over 40 years. It only has 2 blades of which the top blade just broke slicing potatoes. I think I got my [$] worth. I am looking forward to the extra 2 blades. I also own a full size food processor and a mini food processor.

I purchased this for my son-in-law who has always wanted one and he LOVES it, uses it everyday. He likes the fact that he can chop everything he needs for his cooking. The only thing he wishes it would chop are nuts for his breads and cookies, but he figures, that's the least he can do since he no longer has to spend time chopping and dicing. This is my second Veg O Matic... the first one lasted me about 35 years. At that time I saw it on a TV advertisement and sent for it. I finally wore it out and now I have a replacement. I also purchased one for my daughter who has been waiting for me to get tired of my first one so that she could use it. I love using it especially when making potato salad or french fries.
